• File comments: add as many comments as desired to files.
• Background uploads: while uploading (large) files, you can continue using the web app without waiting for the upload to finish.
• Built-in PDF viewer: view PDF files directly in the web app without needing to first download the file.
• Change access rights at any time: you can change the access settings of previously created download links without affecting the existing link.
• Extensive notification options: you can receive email notifications when new files are added to data rooms, for example, or be notified by email as soon as you gain access to another data room. You can select the individual notifications you want to receive yourself.
• Improved emails with your company’s logo and colors: emails sent by DRACOON (e.g. the initial login email, notifications, or password reset emails) are now HTML-based and therefore easier to read and more user-friendly. In this context, saved brand identity elements such as your company’s logo, colors, and signature are used in the emails to make these consistent with your individual corporate design.
• Manage all aspects of your branding yourself: you can easily manage the brand elements used in DRACOON yourself. This means you can also adjust the colors in the web app or change the email signature, for example. The changes are immediately visible.
• S3 direct upload: if you connect DRACOON to S3 storage, the S3 direct upload feature is supported. This means that the files are immediately saved to S3 storage when uploaded to DRACOON, eliminating the additional step of first being saved to DRACOON before being uploaded to the S3 bucket. The S3 direct upload feature significantly reduces the amount of time needed to upload the files and minimizes data traffic.
• Improved security features: by extending the key length, our client-side encryption is now even more secure, and we are revising the cryptographic algorithms.
• Send encrypted emails with DRACOON for Outlook including full-body encryption: you can send encrypted attachments as well as entire email messages with our add-in for Outlook.
• DRACOON for Windows/Mac, DRACOON for iOS, and DRACOON for Android as their own LTS versions: this is how we are ensuring the long-term compatibility of the clients for you.
